: Winding watch with waterproof casing. The invention relates to a watch. re inontoir, sealed casing and which is charac terized in that 1.c barrel of the winding crown and the back of the case are each adjusted by a conical contiguous surface, one in a female cone tube of the. middle part of the case, the other on this middle part itself comprising for this purpose an adjustment surface to. corresponding taper.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example and in section, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
In the drawing. one distinguishes the case intended to receive the watch movement of which only the winding stem with the crown is represented.
The case comprises a middle part 1 forming a bezel 2, in which the glass 3 is placed. In the middle part 1 is screwed a ba gue 4 carrying a casing circle 5 intended to support the watch movement. On the ring 4 having an external thread, is screwed the bottom G .du case, having a corresponding internal thread.
This back has a large conical surface 7 which is pressed against a seat 8 with a corresponding conical surface of the middle part 1, to form a practically tight seal when the back 6 is fully screwed on. The back 6 simultaneously ensures a rigid assembly of the middle part 1, the ring 4 and the back.
The middle 1 is pierced with an orifice 9, in which is fixed a tube 10, of which. the slot is conical and at least in part consists of a metal seal 11 crimped into the tube. This lining is ve naked from a relatively soft metal, for example an anti-friction alloy and forms the seat of the winding crown 12 including the barrel 12 'presenting the. required taper, is fitted in tube 10 to form a substantially waterproof and dust impermeable seal.
The winding stem 13 is screwed into the barrel of the crown and passes freely through it. openings made in the penal colony 4 and the encasement circle 5.
The metallic sealing gasket It could be constituted by one or more extensible ring segments or any other suitable elements, mounted in the tube 10, preferably removably. The lining could also be formed by one or more non-metallic elements, but elastically compressible and impermeable.
Contact between the conical contiguous surfaces is normally ensured by the time-setting mechanism constantly exerting a certain traction on the re-mount rod. However, special means could be provided, such as for example a clamping bracket, locking members, etc. to keep the winding crown fully engaged in tube 10.
In the cone seal provided between the car rure 1 and the bottom 6, it could also be inserted a metal gasket bu equivalent sealing means.
