<B>Montre étanche.</B> La présente invention a pour objet une montre étanche, comprenant une carrure- lunette, un fond se vissant dans cette carrure, et un anneau porte-mouvement, sur lequel vient agir le fond, avec interposition d'une garniture d'étanchéité, lorsqu'on le visse en place.
La montre selon l'invention est carac térisée en ce qu'elle comporte une glace pré sentant un bord .formant une collerette exté rieure annulaire et en ce que la partie de la carrure formant lunette présente, du côté du mouvement, une portée annulaire contre la quelle ladite collerette est pressée, avec inter position d'une garniture d'étanchéité, par l'anneau porte-mouvement, lorsqu'on visse le fond en place.
La figure unique du dessin annexé repré sente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exé cution de la montre étanche objet de l'inven tion, vue en coupe transversale, à une grande échelle, le mouvement et le rémontoir étant absents.
La montre étanche représentée comprend une carrure-lunette 1, dont on voit en 2 les anses, et un fond 3 se vissant en 4 dans cette carrure. On voit en 5 un \anneau porte- mouvement engagé dans la carrure et 'main- tenu en place, d'une part, par le fond 3 et, d'autre part, par une découpure 6 de cet an neau, dans laquelle est engagé un tube 7 chassé dans la carrure et servant de passage à la tige de remontoir, non représentée.
Il est prévu, comme dans le brevet suisse N 230746, une garniture d'étanchéité annu- laire, 8 .de forme plate, qui se trouve pressé par le bord du fond 3 lorsque celui-ci est vissé, pour appuyer partiellement sur une portée annulaire 9 de l'anneau 5 et partielle ment sur une portée annulaire 10 de la car- rire.
La montre comprend en outre une glacé 11 qui présente un bord 12 formant une colle rette extérieure annulaire.
La partie de la carrure formant lunette présente, du côté où se trouve le mouvement, une portée annulaire 13 contre laquelle la collerette 12 est pressée, avec interposition d'une garniture d'étanchéité annulaire plate 14, par l'anneau 5 lorsqu'on visse le fond en place.
Par le fait que la glace est ainsi main tenue en placé, non plus à cran, mais simple- ment par pression de la collerette 12, cette glace peut être réalisée avec une épaisseur -notablement inférieure à celle de 1,4 mm habituellement utilisée pour maintenir la ten sion .dans le cran. Cette diminution de l'épaisseur de la glace, permet aussi de dimi nuer, comme on le comprend facilement, l'épaisseur totale de la montre.
La carrure-lunette, la glace, l'anneau 5, lé fond et les garnitures d'étanchéité 8, 14 sont assemblés par simple vissage du fond 3 dans la carrure. Le changement de la glace 11 est extrêmement facile et ne nécessite aucun outil spécial contrairement à ce qui est le cas pour les verres montés à .cran dans la lunette. L'emploi .de ,bague :de tension, auquel on a souvent recours dans les montres connues, pour maintenir la glace serrée dans le cran, n'est pas nécessaire ici.
L'emploi de garni tures :d'étanchéité 8 et 14 de forme plate, c'est-à-dire de grande surface, assure une étanchéité parfaite.
<B> Waterproof watch. </B> The present invention relates to a waterproof watch, comprising a caseband-bezel, a caseback screwing into this caseband, and a movement-carrying ring, on which the caseback acts, with interposition a gasket, when screwed into place.
The watch according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises a crystal presenting an edge .forming an annular outer flange and in that the part of the middle part forming a bezel has, on the movement side, an annular bearing against whereby said flange is pressed, with interposition of a seal, by the movement carrier ring, when the bottom is screwed in place.
The single figure of the appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the waterproof watch which is the subject of the invention, seen in cross section, on a large scale, the movement and the winder being absent.
The waterproof watch shown comprises a caseband-bezel 1, the handles of which can be seen at 2, and a back 3 which is screwed at 4 into this caseband. 5 shows a movement carrier ring engaged in the caseband and 'held in place, on the one hand, by the back 3 and, on the other hand, by a cutout 6 of this ring, in which is engaged a tube 7 driven into the middle part and serving as a passage for the winding stem, not shown.
There is provided, as in Swiss patent N 230746, an annular seal, 8. Of flat shape, which is pressed by the edge of the base 3 when the latter is screwed, to partially press on a bearing surface. annular 9 of the ring 5 and partially on an annular bearing surface 10 of the frame.
The watch further comprises a mirror 11 which has an edge 12 forming an annular outer glue.
The part of the middle part forming the bezel has, on the side where the movement is located, an annular bearing 13 against which the collar 12 is pressed, with the interposition of a flat annular seal 14, by the ring 5 when screws the bottom into place.
By the fact that the glass is thus hand held in place, no longer in a notch, but simply by pressure of the collar 12, this glass can be produced with a thickness -notably less than that of 1.4 mm usually used for maintain the voltage in the notch. This reduction in the thickness of the crystal also makes it possible to decrease, as can easily be understood, the total thickness of the watch.
The middle-bezel, the crystal, the ring 5, the back and the seals 8, 14 are assembled by simply screwing the back 3 into the middle. The change of the lens 11 is extremely easy and does not require any special tools unlike in the case of lenses mounted to screens in the bezel. The use of the tension ring, which is often used in known watches, to keep the glass tight in the notch, is not necessary here.
The use of gaskets: 8 and 14 of flat shape, that is to say of large surface, ensures perfect sealing.
