Boîte de montre étanche. L'invention a pour objet une boîte de montre étanche comprenant une carrure, un fond, une lunette et un verre de protection en matière incassable, le fond et la lunette étant assemblés avec la carrure, chacun par un ajustement à cran.
Cette boîte est caractérisée en ce qu'une garniture d'étanchéité compressible est insé rée dans un logement annulaire ménagé dans le bord plat de chaque face de la carrure, le fond de la boîte s'appuyant sur l'une des- dites garnitures en la maintenant comprimée, le verre de protection s'appuyant par un talon, sur l'autre garniture en la maintenant com primée, ce verre étant maintenu, par serrage, par la lunette portant par un rebord intérieur, sur ledit talon du verre.
Le dessin annexé montre, à titre d'exem ple et en coupe, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.
La carrure 1 présente sur chaque face un cran 2 respectivement 3 et un bord plat 4 respectivement 5. Sur ces crans 2 et 3 sont crochés le fond 6 respectivement la lu- nette 7 portant, sur un rebord intérieur, sur un talon périphérique S' du verre de protec tion 8 en matière incassable.
Ce verre est enserré par son talon 8', entre une bague d'étanchéité 9 en matière compres sible insérée ;dans une rainure circulaire 10 ménagée dans le bord plat 5 de la carrure.
Le fond 6 s'appuie de son côté sur une bague d'étanchéité 11 en matière compres sible, insérée dans une rainure circulaire 12 ménagée dans le bord plat 4 de la carrure.
Le mouvement de montre 13 est ajusté dans la carrure 1 et porte le cadran 14; mouvement et cadran sont représentés en traits mixtes.
Les bagues d'étanchéité 9 et 11 sont maintenues plus ou moins comprimées, l'une par la lunette 7, l'autre par le fond 6 ; elles assurent l'étanchéité de la boîte en rendant les joints d'assemblage imperméables à l'eau et à la poussière.
II est à remarquer que les bagues d'étan chéité sont logées à l'écart des contres-battues de' fond et de lunette, afin d'empêcher que ces bagues ne soient abîmées lorsqu'on ouvre le fond et la lunette à l'aide d'un outil que l'on engage à cet effet dans le joint de fer meture de ces deux éléments de boîte.
Les bagues d'étanchéité peuvent être faites en caoutchouc, en cuir ou toute autre matière compressible imperméable. Chaque bague pourrait être formée de deux ou plusieurs segments de bague. Enfin, chaque garniture d'étanchéité pourrait être constituée de deux ou plusieurs bagues.

The caseband 1 has on each side a notch 2 respectively 3 and a flat edge 4 respectively 5. On these notches 2 and 3 are hooked the base 6 respectively the lens 7 bearing, on an inner rim, on a peripheral heel S ' protective glass 8 made of unbreakable material.
This lens is clamped by its heel 8 ', between a sealing ring 9 of compressible material inserted in a circular groove 10 formed in the flat edge 5 of the caseband.
The back 6 for its part rests on a sealing ring 11 of compressible material, inserted in a circular groove 12 formed in the flat edge 4 of the caseband.
The watch movement 13 is fitted in the caseband 1 and carries the dial 14; movement and dial are shown in phantom lines.
The sealing rings 9 and 11 are kept more or less compressed, one by the bezel 7, the other by the bottom 6; they ensure the sealing of the box by making the assembly joints impermeable to water and dust.
