Boîte de montre étanche. La présente invention se rapporte aux boîtes de montres étanches dans lesquelles un joint étanche est réalisé entre le verre et une autre pièce de la boîte. Dans une construc tion connue de ce genre, dans laquelle le fond et 1a carrure sont venus, d'une seule pièce, une glace en matière flexible et à rebord cylindrique est ajustée sur un rebord cylin drique de la carrure-fond -et y est maintenue par une bague de serrage formant lunette.
On a remarqué que cette bague de serrage, ne portant que sur la hauteur forcément très limitée du rebord de :la glace, tombait faci lement, à moins qu'on ne la fît très étroite par rapport au diamètre extérieur de ce re bord; mais dans ce cas, ce rebord, étant sou mis à des efforts trop considérables de com pression, perdait assez rapidement son élasti cité spécifique.
La présente invention a surtout pour but de remédier à cet inconvénient. Elle a pour objet une boîte .de montre étanche compor tant un fond et une carrure-lunette, caracté risée en ce que la glace, en matière légère- ment compressible, comporte un rebord tubu laire ajusté sur une manchette prolongeant un rebord du fond perpendiculaire au plan du mouvement -et est serrée radialement par la partie supérieure de la carrure-lunette dont k corps s'emboîte sur le rebord du fond.
Le dessin. annexé montre, à titre d'exem ple, une forme d'exécution de la boîte de montre faisant l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 montre, en coupe radiale, la boîte entièrement montée; les fig. 2, 3 -et 4 sont des coupes des trois pièces. formant la boîte, carrure-lunette, glace, fond, vues séparément.
Le fond 1 de la boîte représentée possède un rebord 2 perpendiculaire au plan du mou vement. Ce rebord 2, est prolongé par une manchette 3@. La glace 4 en matière légère ment compressible possède un rebord tubu laire 5 destiné à s'ajuster sur la manchette 3 du fond. La carrure-lunette est venue d'une seule pièce, par exemple en fonte injectée.
Elle comporte une partie supérieure 6 for mant lunette destinée à s'ajuster sur le re- bord 5 de la glace et un corps de carrure 7 portant 'les anses 8, destiné à s'emboîter sur le rebord 2 du fond qu'il recouvre sur pres que toute sa hauteur.
Les dimensions de l'ouverture de la partie supérieure 6 et de celle du corps de carrure 7 peuvent être fa cilement prévues de façon que le rebord 5 de la glace soit pressé radialement contre la manchette 3 du fond juste assez pour obte- iiir un joint parfaitement étanche sans alté rer la compressibilité spécifique de la ma tière qui le compose.
Le corps de carrure 7 étant emboîté sur presque toute la hauteur du rebord du fond, la carrure-lunette peut tenir d'elle-même en place sans que sa partie supérieure exerce sur le rebord 5 du verre et sur la manchette 3 du fond des efforts de compre-sion incompatibles avec la résis tance de ces parties. Le rebord 2 du fond est percé d'un trou 9 pour le passage de la tige de remontoir et une entaille 10 est mé- nagée dans le même but dans le corps 7 de 1a carrure-lunette.

The bottom 1 of the box shown has a flange 2 perpendicular to the plane of movement. This rim 2 is extended by a cuff 3 @.
