<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 153824. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines als Reservierungsmittel verwendbaren Kondensationsproduktes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einer wertvollen Verbindung gelangt, die beispiels weise als Reservierungsmittel für Wolle oder Seide gegen Aüfärbung mit substantiven Farbstoffen benutzt werden kann, wenn man 1 Mol Bis-(3-aminobenzol-l-sulfonyl-3'-amino benzol-1'-sulfonyl-3"-aminobenzol-1"-sulfonyl)- benzidin-m,
m'-disulfosäure mit 2 Mol 3-Nitro- benzolsulfochlorid kondensiert, das erhaltene Produkt zur Diaminoverbindung reduziert und letztere mit 2 Mol 1,2,3-Trichlorbenzol- 4-sulfochlorid vereinigt.

Bis-(3-aminobenzol-1.-sulfonyl-3'-aminobenzol- 1'-sulfonyl-3"-amin obenzol-1 "-s u lfo nyl-3"'-ami- nobenzol -1"'- sulfonyl) - benzidi n-m,m'-disulfo- säure wird gemäss Beispiel des Hauptpatentes hergestellt,
und die einem Grammolekül ent sprechende enge wird mit etwa der 30-fa- chen Gewichtsmenge heissen Wassers schwach sodaalkalisch in Lösung gebraeht und nach Zusatz von 160 gr Kreide bei 80-85 mit 700 gr 1,2,3-Trichlorbenzol-4-sulfochlorid un ter gutem Rühren versetzt. Die Reaktion setzt nach kurzer Zeit ein, und das Konden sationsprodukt kommt in zunächst zähflüssi ger Form heraus.
Man hält die Temperatur unter gutem Rühren etwa 1 Stunde bei 90-950, setzt Salzsäure bis zur schwach sauren Reaktion der Brühe zu, lässt erkalten und zieht die klare Mutterlauge von dem in festen Krusten am Boden des Gefässes zu rückbleibenden Reaktionsprodukt ab. Das so gewonnene Kalksalz wird feucht pulverisiert, abgenutscht und mit etwa der 10-fachen Ge wichtsmenge Wasser sodaalkalisch heiss in Lösung gebracht.
Das hierbei ausgefällte Cal- ciumearbonat wird abgesaugt und die mit wenig Kochsalzlösung versetzte Brühe mit Essigsäure angesäuert, wobei das Natrium salz der Bis-(1,2,3-Trichlorbenzol-4-sulfonyl 3'-aminobenzol-1'-sulfonyl-3"-aminobecizol-1" sulfonyl-3"'-aminobenzol-1"'-sulfonyl-3""-ami- nobenzol-1""--sulfonyl) -benzidin-m,m'- disulfo- säure von der Formel
