La fig. 1 est une vue en élévation laté rale d'un métier à filer continu, dans la quelle les différents organes sont montrés dans la position qu'ils occupent au com mencement ,de 1a formation des canettes, le rail étant dans sa position initiale de forma tion et au bas de la course de renvidage; La fig. \? est une vue analogue montrant les différents organes dans leurs positions respectives à l'approche de la fin de la forma tion des canettes, le rail étant dans sa posi tion extrême de formation et au sommet de la coure de renvidage;
La fig. 3 est une coupe longitudinale par le mécanisme de commande, les organes étant représentés dans les positions corres pondantes à la fig. 1; La fig. 4 est une coupe transversale par 4-4 de fig. 3; La fig. 5 est une coupe longitudinale par le mécanisme de commande dans la positioi: correspondant au commencement de la forma tion des canettes, mais à fin de course de renvidage du rail, le déclic ou mouvement de séparation étant supposé mis en action;
1 continuous spinning tree. The invention is aimed at a continuous spinning machine. According to the invention, this loom is provided with a click movement between the rail carrying the guides or sliders placing the wire on the pins and the main control @of the loom, so as to make it possible to make the rail independent of the control. as soon as it arrives at the top of its winding stroke so as to allow it to fall, under the action of gravity or under,
the combined action of gravity and other means, before the wire has completed a full turn on the tip of the bobbin.
The accompanying drawings show, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a side elevational view of a continuous spinning machine, in which the various members are shown in the position they occupy at the start of the formation of the cans, the rail being in its initial forming position. tion and at the bottom of the winding stroke; Fig. \? is a similar view showing the various members in their respective positions as they approach the end of the forming of the cans, the rail being in its extreme forming position and at the top of the winding run;
Fig. 3 is a longitudinal section through the control mechanism, the members being shown in the positions corresponding to FIG. 1; Fig. 4 is a cross section through 4-4 of FIG. 3; Fig. 5 is a longitudinal section through the control mechanism in the position: corresponding to the beginning of the formation of the cans, but at the end of the rail winding stroke, the click or separation movement being supposed to be put into action;
Fig. G is a perspective view of the movements, the various members occupying positions identical to FIG. 1.
The rack-and-pinion lifting rods A, on which the AI rail is mounted carrying the guides or sliders in contact with the winding during the laying of the wire, are. actuated by a gear a'.actuated itself by a horizontal rod B with rack B 'moving. in a reciprocating movement.
The rack is disposed on the upper face of the rod B and the latter is mounted in supports provided: on the frame.
A carriage C is mounted on the rod B on which it can slide. A conforming rail D is pivoted at d on the carriage C. The inclination of this rail D is determined by a conforming cam E mounted on a shaft e carried by the carriage C. The lower end of the rail D is provided with a roller dl por so much on said cam E. The latter makes about one complete revolution during the formation of the cans.
It is moved in the direction indicated by the arrow by means of the mechanism described below, in such a way that it gradually accentuates the inclination to the vertical of the rail D as the cam rotates from its lowest point 1 to its highest point 2 corresponding to the end of the formation of the bottom of the bobbin and the beginning of the formation of the bobbin body.
As the cam continues to rotate, the point. 3 corresponding to the end of the formation of the can enters into engagement with the roller dl and the inclination relative to the vertical of the rail D consequently decreases very slightly.
A roller f mounted -on the end of a lance F articulated on the transverse axis F 'is in contact with the outer face of the rail D, such that when the balance F oscillates in one direction the roller f in contact with the face of the rail D by the latter communicates a movement to the carriage C, the magnitude of this movement depending on the inclination of the rail D. The balance F receives its oscillation movement by means of a cam G carried by a shaft G '- arranged transversely to the loom,
which cam comes into contact with a roller f2 mounted on the underside of the balance F. The shaft Gl receives its movement from a helical wheel f actuated by a screw on the main shaft of the loom. To a complete revolution of the cam G and consequently to an oscillation of the balance F. Corresponds an outward and return stroke, that is to say my aunt and downward, of the Al rail.
This was the winding stroke, the profile of the cam G is set so as to give the rail D the necessary movement to achieve the speed difference required for the upward stroke of the rail A '.
The end of the balance F opposite the roller f carries a counterweight W ensuring that the roller f \ comes into contact with the cam G and which gives the return movement to the rail D.
The carriage C carries a wheel. toothed c tinée to be actuated by a -drive ratchet c 'mounted -adjustably in a slide formed in the oscillating bar c2 subjected to the action of a spring c'. In this way, a wheel c progresses from tooth to tooth: as the back-and-forth stroke of the carriage.
The axis of the wheel c carries a toothed wheel meshing with a toothed wheel 1z carried by the shaft li 'on which is fixed a helical screw 1r.2 meshing with the helical wheel 1s carried by the shaft H which is arranged in supports provided on the carriage and is pa rallèle to the rod B actuating the rods of the vage.
The shaft H also carries a helical screw V meshing with the helical gear e 'mounted on the small shaft e carrying the cam E. The reduction between the toothed wheel c and the cam E is such that this last does not make more than one turn during the formation of a can. As has been said previously, the profile of the cam E is such as at the beginning of the. formation of the bobbin the inclination on the vertical of the rail D is first increased and then gradually decreases.
At the start of the formation of the bobbin, the rail D is in the position closest to the vertical (fig. 1) and is in engagement with the cam E at the point 1 closest to the center of the latter. From this point, the cam profile moves away from the center in a substantially straight line to point 2 which is the furthest from the center. his profile is extended in continuation by: approaching the center to point 3. which is at an intermediate distance from the center.
It is at this point 3 that the formation of the -canette is completed.
The carriage C carries an arm J extending in the direction of the end of the loom. And parallel to the rack rod 1st B. A roller j mounted on the 'end of the arm J is in contact with a cam K mounted on the: carriage L, which: is normally made integral with the. rod B by means of a spring-loaded pin 1.
This .came K, which determines the position at which each upward stroke begins: of rail A ', is moved by a shaft H' coupled to the shaft Il by means of a coupling to spring Ks. The shaft Hl is -quadrangular-section and can slide in supports 1c provided on the carriage L. It carries a helical screw 1c 'meshing with a helical wheel k2 carried by the shaft H4 on which is fixed the cam K.
The gear ratio between the cam K and the ratchet wheel c is such that said cam K does not make more than one revolution in third during the formation of the bobbin.
Profile: key, cam K goes away from the center from point 4 closest to the center, to point 5 which is furthest from it. However, the radius increase is faster at the beginning of the formation: of the can.
Thus, the rotation of the cam .K causes a small displacement of the -carriage L carried by the rod B, -so that it moves away from the .carriage C with each back-and-forth movement of the latter and this as a result -of the engagement in: contact of the roller -of the end of the arm J with said cam K. In this way the rod B will receive a progressive forward movement independently of the continuous back-and-forth movement. comes. which is communicated to it by the rail D. the carriage C, the arm J and the carriage L.
This progressive advancement of rod B is communicated to the lifting rods: 1 by means of the wheel a 'connecting said rod B to the lifting rods. In this way, every back-and-forth movement there. The rack causes the lower position of the rail A 'to rise, starting from the point from which the winding begins.
The. Cam F has the effect of varying the inclination of the rail D and thus adjusts the winding or length of bobbins returned each time the rail A 'is raised and lowered, while the cam K has the effect of determining the position corresponding to the start of rewinding for each rise of the rail.
As said earlier, the continuous spinning loom has a device by means of which the rail A 'is. released or made independent of the mechanism ensuring its vage and this immediately when it reaches the top of its winding stroke.
This can be achieved by connecting the arm J. carrying the roller j in contact with the cam K to the carriage of the arm D. by means of a click mechanism. This mechanism comprises a lever M articulated on the carriage C and carrying a shoulder m disposed at, mid-length Pt coming into engagement with a rod j 'during the forward stroke of: carriage C, which rod j1 is integral with the arm J and drives the latter in the front run of the carriage.
At the moment when the rail A ': must. descend, a click bar f1 carried by the balance F comes to bear on the lever 1Y1 and lowers it in such a way that the shoulder m. comes out of engagement with the rod j1 and that the carriage L is thus made independent of the carriage C, the rail A1 being at the same time made free falling either under the action of its own weight or under the combined action of cc last and other means. At the same time.
The rack and the cbariot L are brought back at a greater speed than the carriage C.
A shock absorber spring 11 is disposed at the end of the arm J - so that when the latter has moved backwards by a certain amount, its movement. that of cha riot L as well as. of. rack B and the center of rail A 'are.
again made dependent on the movement of the carriage C. The carriage C on the other hand continuing to move backwards, the rod j1 will again come to be placed behind the shoulder m on the click lever as a result of the retarding action lever o 'by means of the rod 0.
Instead of placing a click control between the carriage C. And the carriage L, it can be placed at any point between the rail A 'and the main control of the loom, so that said rail A' is released. control as soon as it reaches the top of its stroke to allow it to drop before the thread has completed one full turn on the tip of the bobbin.
To allow the lifting of the finished cans and to bring the whole mechanism back to the starting position, the forming cam holder is fixed to the rack by the precipitated spring pin 1, so as to make it possible to return it. Easily independent of the rack B, the cams being adjusted by turning them with a suitable key.
The rails A1 on either side of the loom can be actuated by a single mechanism if one .dispose on a transverse shaft the gears controlling the lifting rods and driven by the rack.
Corresponding gears are mounted on these shafts - on either side of the loom to control the racks - of the lifting rods - on the corresponding side of the loom.
