Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines wertvollen     Küpenfarbstoffes.       Im Hauptpatent ist ein Verfahren zur  Darstellung eines wertvollen     Küpenfarbstoffes     beschrieben, bei dem     Aminodibenzanthron,     das erhalten werden kann durch Reduktion  des durch Nitrieren von     Dibenzanthron    ent  stehenden     Mononitrodibenzanthrons,    mit einem  in     1-Stellung    negativ substituierten     Anthra-          chinon    kondensiert wird.  



  Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man einen  ähnlichen wertvollen     Küpenfarbstoff    erhält,  wenn man     Aminodibenzanthron,    das erhalten  werden kann durch Reduktion des durch Nitrie  ren von     Dibenzanthron    entstehenden     Mononitro-          dibenzanthrons,    mit einem in     1-5-Stellung     negativ substituierten     Anthrachinon    konden  siert. Die Kondensation führt man zweck  mässig in hochsiedenden     Lösungs-    oder Ver  dünnungsmitteln aus, und man kann hierbei  auch säurebindende Mittel zusetzen.

   Vielfach  ist die Anwendung von Katalysatoren vor  teilhaft, als welche beispielsweise Gemische    von     Natriumacetat    und Kupfersalzen benutzt  werden können.  



  Der neue     Küpenfarbstoff    ist ein schwarzes  Pulver; er ist in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure  mit violetter Farbe löslich und     färbt    Baum  wolle aus blauer     Küpe    in grauen bis schwarzen,  hervorragend echten Tönen.         Beispiel:     Man suspendiert 94 Teile des     Aminodi-          benzanthrons    in 1000 Teilen Nitrobenzol,  gibt 30 Teile     Natriumacetat,    7 Teile Kupfer  oxyd und 28 Teile     1.5-Dichloranthrachinon     zu, worauf man unter Rühren so lange kocht,  bis das entstandene Reaktionsprodukt prak  tisch halogenfrei ist. Man arbeitet sodann  in der üblichen Weise auf.  



  Man kann das     Aminodibenzanthron    wäh  rend der Reaktion, aus der entsprechenden  Nitroverbindung und einem Reduktionsmittel,      zum Beispiel     Hydrazinhydrat    oder Schwefel,  erzeugen.  



  Statt des 1     .5-Dichloranthrachinons    kann  man auch 30 Teile     1.5-Dinitroarithrachinon     verwenden. In diesem Falle muss von dem  fertigen     Aminodibenzanthron    ausgegangen  werden, oder die Reduktion des     Nitrodiben-          zanthrons    zu     Aminodibenzanthron    schon vor  Zugabe des 1.     5-Dinitroanthrachinons    zu Ende  geführt sein.

The condensation is conveniently carried out in high-boiling solvents or diluents, and acid-binding agents can also be added.

   In many cases, the use of catalysts is advantageous, as which, for example, mixtures of sodium acetate and copper salts can be used.



  The new vat dye is a black powder; it is soluble in concentrated sulfuric acid with a violet color and dyes cotton from a blue vat in gray to black, exceptionally real shades. Example: 94 parts of aminodibenzanthrone are suspended in 1000 parts of nitrobenzene, 30 parts of sodium acetate, 7 parts of copper oxide and 28 parts of 1,5-dichloroanthraquinone are added, and the mixture is boiled with stirring until the resulting reaction product is practically halogen-free. You then work up in the usual way.



  The aminodibenzanthrone can be generated during the reaction from the corresponding nitro compound and a reducing agent, for example hydrazine hydrate or sulfur.



  Instead of the 1.5-dichloroanthraquinone, you can also use 30 parts of 1.5-dinitroarithraquinone. In this case, the finished aminodibenzanthrone must be used as the starting point, or the reduction of the nitrodibenzanthrone to aminodibenzanthrone must be completed before the 1,5-dinitroanthraquinone is added.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines wert vollen Küpenfarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeich net, dass man 2 Mol Aminodibenzanthron, das erhalten werden kann durch Reduktion des durch Nitrieren von Dibenzanthron ent stehenden Mononitrodibenzanthrons, mit 111!o1 eines in 1 .5-Stellung negativ substituierten Anthrachinons kondensiert. Verfahren gemäss Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Kondensation in Gegenwart von säurebindenden Mitteln ausführt. 4. Verfahren gemäss Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Kondensation in Gegenwart von Katalysatoren ausführt.
