Im     Ilauptpatent    ist ein Verfahren zur  Darstellung eines wertvollen     Küpenfarb-          stoffes    beschrieben, bei dem     Aminodibenz-          anthron,    das     erhalten    werden kann .durch  Reduktion des durch Nitrieren von     Di-          benza.nthron    entstehenden     Mononitrodibenz-          anthrons,    mit einem in     1-Stellung    negativ  substituierten     Anthra.chinon    kondensiert  wird.  



  Es wurde nun gefunden,     .dass    man einen  ähnlichen wertvollen     Küpenfarbstoff    erhält,  wenn man 3     Mol.        Aminodibenzanthron,    das  erhalten werden kann durch Reduktion des  durch Nitrieren von     Dibenzanthron    entstehen  den     Mononitrodibenzanthrons,    mit 1     Mol.        Tri-          lialogen-ms-naphto,dianthron,    hergestellt .aus       Trihalogen-ms-benzdianthron,    das durch di  rekte     Halogenierung    von     ms-Benzdianthron     erhalten wird,

   durch     Verbacken    mit Alumi  niumchlorid oder durch     Oxydation    mit       hraunstein    in Gegenwart von Schwefelsäure,  kondensiert. Die Kondensation führt man    zweckmässig in hochsiedenden     Lösungs-    oder  Verdünnungsmitteln aus, und man kann  hierbei auch säurebindende     Mittel    zusetzen.  Vielfach ist die Anwendung von Katalysa  toren vorteilhaft,     .als    welche beispielsweise  Gemische von     Natriumacetat    und Kupfersal  zen benutzt     werden.    können.  



  Der neue     Küpenàrbstoff        ist    ein schwar  zes Pulver; er ist in konzentrierter .Schwefel  säure mit violetter Farbe löslich und färbt  Baumwolle aus blauer     Küpe    in schwarzen,  hervorragend echten Tönen.

Darauf wird wie üblich aufgearbeitet.

        Man kann .das     Aminodibenzanthron    wäh  rend     ,der    Reaktion, aus der entsprechenden  Nitroverbindung und einem Reduktionsmit  tel, zum Beispiel     Hydrazinhydrat    oder       Schwefel    erzeugen.     ,Statt    des     Tribrom-ms-          naphto,dianthrons    kann man .auch     Trichlor-          ms-naphtodianthron    verwenden.
