Abstract

L'invention concerne dans un procédé de synthèse d'acides chloracétiques par chloration d'acide acétique en présence d'anhydride acétique ou de chlorure d'acétyle et qui sous produit un courant gazeux d'acide chlorhydrique brut, le perfectionnement comprenant : a/ la mise en contact de ce courant gazeux avec du charbon actif jusqu'à disparition du chlore qui y était contenu, b/ la séparation, dans le courant obtenu en a, à l'aide d'au moins une compression et un refroidissement (i) de l'acide chlorhydrique pur et (ii) des autres produits, c/ le recyclage des autres produits (ii) dans le réacteur de synthèse d'acides chloracétiques.

Claims (3)

1. Un procédé de synthèse d'acides chloracétiques par chloration d'acide acétique en présence d'anhydride acétique ou de chlorure d'acétyle, dans lequel est sous produit un courant gazeux d'acide chlorhydrique brut, ce procédé étant caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend le perfectionnement suivant:
a) la mise en contact du courant gazeux d'acide chlorhydrique avec du charbon actif jusqu'à disparition du chlore qui y était contenu, b) la séparation, dans le courant obtenu en a, à
l'aide d'au moins une compression et un refroidissement, (i) de l'acide chlorhydrique pur et (ii) des autres produits, c) le recyclage des autres produits (ii) dans le réacteur de synthèse d'acides chloracétiques.
2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé
en ce que le charbon actif est en lit fixe sous forme de granulés.
3. Procédé selon la revendication 1 ou 2, carac-térisé en ce que le courant d'acide chlorhydrique à purifier dans l'étape a contient du chlorure d'acétyle et du chlore et que le rapport molaire chlorure d'acétyle sur chlore est supérieur à 5, le temps de séjour entre 2 et 3 secondes et la température de 120 à 150°C.
