Abstract
SÍNTESE HMO. A presente invenção se refere a uma célula estavelmente cultivada em um meio, cuja célula é ajustada para a produção de oligossacarídeos, a célula sendo transformada para compreender pelo menos uma sequência de ácido nucléico que codifica uma enzima envolvida na síntese de oligossacarídeo. Além disto, a célula é transformada para compreender pelo menos uma sequência de ácido nucléico que codifica uma proteína da família de transportador de efluxo de açúcar, um homólogo funcional ou um derivado deste. Adicionalmente, a invenção inclui um método para a produção de oligossacarídeos que envolvem a célula acima descrita.
