Abstract
PRODUÇÃO DE OLIGOSSACARÍDEO SIALILADO EM CÉLULAS HOSPEDEIRAS. A presente invenção está no campo técnico da biologia sintética e da engenharia metabólica. Mais particularmente, a presente invenção está no campo técnico da fermentação de células hospedeiras modificadas metabolicamente. A presente invenção descreve um método de preparação de oligossacarídeo sialilado por fermentação com uma célula geneticamente modificada, bem como a célula geneticamente modificada utilizada no método. A célula geneticamente modificada compreende pelo menos uma sequência do ácido nucleico que codifica uma enzima envolvida na síntese de oligossacarídeo sialilado e pelo menos um ácido nucleico que expressa uma proteína da membrana.
