produção fermentativa de carboidratos por células microbianas utilizando uma matéria prima mista. são reveladas células microbianas geneticamente modificadas para a produção de um carboidrato de interesse, em que as células microbianas possuem uma disponibilidade intracelular aumentada de pelo menos um fosfato de açúcar e produzem o carboidrato de interesse ao serem cultivadas em um meio de cultura contendo uma matéria-prima de monossacarídeo misto como principal fonte de carbono e energia. também é revelado um método fermentativo de produção de um carboidrato de interesse pelo cultivo da referida célula microbiana geneticamente modificada na presença de uma matéria-prima de monossacarídeo misto como principal fonte de carbono e energia.
