Abstract

PROCESSOS DE ALCOXILAçãO DE ALTA PRODUTIVIDADE. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo contínuo para a preparação de um produto de pai jéter de polioxialquileno, de peso molecular médio numérico N, empregando a adição contínua do iniciador, envolvendo as etapas de: (a) estabelecer em um reator contínuo uma primeira porção de uma mistura de catalisador/iniciador, a qual é efetiva para iniciar a polioxial-quilação do iniciador de partida, após a introdução do óxido de alquileno dentro do reator contínuo; (b) introduzir continuamente dentro do reator contínuo um ou mais óxidos de alquileno; (c) introduzir continuamente dentro do reator contínuo um ou mais iniciadores adicionados continuamente, os quais podem ser idênticos ou diferentes do dito iniciador de partida; (d) introduzir continuamente dentro do reator um catalisador recém-preparado e/ou adicional mistura de catalisador/iniciador, de modo que a atividade catalítica seja mantida, em que o catalisador é selecionado do grupo que consiste em óxidos modificados e hidróxidos de cálcio, estróncio e bário, fosfatos de lantânio ou fosfatos da série das lantanidas (terra rara), e hidrotalcitas e hidrotalcitas sintéticas; (e) introduzir iniciadores combinados de polioxialquilação através da contínua prática de pelo menos as etapas (b) a (d), até que seja obtido um produto de poliéter de polioxialquileno de peso molecular médio numérico N; e (f) remover continuamente o produto de poliéter de polioxialqulleno do reator contínuo. Catalisadores modificados por hidróxido de cálcio ou óxido de cálcio e à base de fosfatos de lantânio exibem propriedades cinéticas de pega e são de utilidade na produção de óxidos de polialquileno usando processos contínuos ou o processo de CAOS.
