Abstract

CONSTRUçãO DE PIA TIPO CANAL DE ALIMENTAçãO, USADA EM FUNDIçãO DE COBRE FUNDIDO. A presente invenção se refere a uma construção de pia tipo canal de alimentação para transporte de metal fundido. O metal circula na parte inferior da construção de pia em um canal definido por uma massa refratária, a construção de pia sendo isolada termicamente, de modo que em condições de operação, o metal forma uma zona sólida na massa refratária porosa. As características essenciais da construção de pia tipo canal de alimentação incluem uma parte de cobertura que é provida de resistores elétricos, garantindo que o metal permaneça fundido e a construção de pia suficientemente quente durante todo o processo, e um queimador a gás, que evita o metal de resfriar sob o efeito da circulação do gás no canal da construção de pia.
