Abstract
TRATAMENTO TÉRMICO DE FUNDIÇÕES SOB PRESSçO EM ALTA PRESSçO DE LIGA DE ALUMÍNIO. Um método para o tratamento térmico de uma fundição produzida através de fundição sob pressão em alta pressão que pode exibir bolhas que formam porosidade na condiçãoconforme-fundida, de uma liga de alumínio envelhecimentoendurecível, inclui tratamento em solução da fundição através de aquecimento da fundição para e dentro de uma faixa de temperatura que permite que os elementos soluto sejam captados em solução sólida. A fundição, então, é esfriada para terminar o tratamento em solução através de resfriamento brusco da fundição para uma temperatura abaixo de 1000C. A fundição esfriada é mantida em uma faixa de temperatura que permite envelhecimento natural e/ou artificial, O tratamento em solução é conduzido para obter um nível de solução de elemento soluto que permite endurecimento por envelhecimento sem expansão de poros na fundição que causam formação inaceitável de bolhas na fundição.
