Abstract

NAVIO CONVERSìVEL. Um navio inclui um catamarã pesadamente carregado, uma ou várias plataformas de embarque/desembarque móveis (3), um dispositivo motriz é provido para variações de calado em águas profundas agitadas para que a plataforma (3) possa ser levantada ou baixada entre os cascos, desse modo seletivamente variando a flutuação do navio. Na posição superior, o navio é um catamarã para alto-mar, em uma posição intermediária a plataforma ou plataformas são flutuantes e um canal é formado entre o fundo da plataforma e as quilhas de catamarã; na posição inferior, o fundo da plataforma e catamarã são do mesmo nível convertendo o catamarã em uma embarcação para águas rasas, na posição extrema inferior, o catamarã é erguido acima da água para docagem.
