Abstract

COMPONENTE DE CORPO OCO E PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE UM COMPONENTE DESSE TIPO A presente invenção refere-se a um componente de corpo oco constituído por no mínimo dois elementos de casco (1, 2) de material fundido sob pressão, especialmente para ser empregado como componente de direção em conjuntos de mecanismo de movimentação de veículos automotores.O componente de como oco caracteriza-se pelo fato de que nos elementos de casco (1, 2) a serem conectados acha-se respectivamente configurada no mínimo uma região de ligação (5, 6,18, 19), sendo que uma região de ligação (5) é constituída por no mínimo uma primeira região de contato (7), essencialmente em forma de U na seção transversal, disposta no respectivo elemento de casco (1), e a segunda região de ligação é constituída por no mínimo uma segunda região de contato (8) em forma de segmento, disposta no outro respectivo elemento de casco (2) e que engata no espaço intermediário da primeira região de contato (7), em forma de U, sendo que as regiões de ligação (5, 6, 18, 19) encontram-se soldadas a frio uma com a outra por travamento mecânico por meio de aplicação de uma força de compressão (F1, F2) que é várias vezes maior do que os componentes de força de separação (Fr) que, no estado de operação, atuam sobre as regiões de ligação (5, 6, 18,19). Além disso, a invenção se refere a um processo para a produção de um componente de como oco desse tipo. Devido à configuração especial das regiões de ligação (5, 6), juntamente com a soldagem a frio produzida nessas regiões forma-se um componente que pode ser produzido de modo económico, o qual, ao contrário do estado da técnica, possibilita aspectos adicionais de redução de peso devido ao ajuste especial das espessuras de parede no âmbito da fundição de alumínio sob pressão.
