Abstract

"PROCESSO DE SEQüESTRO DE CARBONO SOB A FORMA DE UM MINERAL NO QUAL O CARBONO ESTá NO GRAU DE OXIDAçãO +3". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de seqüestro de carbono emitido na atmosfera sob a forma de CO~ 2~ que compreende: a) uma etapa de concentração do CO~ 2~ em fase líquida; b) uma etapa de eletrorredução em meio aprótico em um composto no qual o carbono passa ao grau de oxidação +3 sob a forma de ácido oxálico ou fórmico; c) se for o caso, uma etapa de reextração do ácido oxálico ou fórmico em fase aquosa; e d) uma etapa de mineralização por reação com um composto de um elemento M que chega a um composto estável no qual a relação atómica CIM é de aproximadamente 2/1.
