Abstract

"MOLéCULA ISOLADA DE POLINUCLEOTìDEO, POLIPEPTìDEO, MOLéCULA DE DNA RECOMBINANTE, VETOR DE EXPRESSãO, ORGANISMO RECOMBINANTE, BEM COMO PROCESSOS PARA PRODUçãO DE áCIDO L-ASCóRBICO, DE L-SORBOSONA DESIDROGENASE E DE VITAMINA C". A presente invenção refere-se a uma molécula isolada de polinucleotídio derivada de um polinucleotídio codificando um polipeptídio possuindo atividade L-sorbosona desidrogenase compreendendo uma seqüência parcial de nucleotídios de pelo menos 20 nucleotídios consecutivos da SEQ ID N<0>:1. A presente invenção também se refere a um processo para produção do ácido L-ascórbico com altos rendimentos, em particular um processo utilizando células em repouso de um microorganismo capaz de converter umas dadas fontes de carbono em vitamina C. A vitamina C assim obtida pode ser também processada por etapas de purificação e/ou separação.
