Abstract
<B>MANIPULADOR AUTOMáTICO PARA ALIMENTAçãO DE RECIPIENTES PARA DENTRO E PARA FORA DE UM INSTRUMENTO ANALìTICO<D> Um instrumento analítico tem um manipulador de amostra para introduzir prateleiras de recipientes, incluindo vários tipos e tamanhos de tubos de ensaio, tanto tampados como destampados, e inserções, no instrumento. O manipulador de amostra tem uma alimentação interna, uma alimentação externa e uma alimentação transversal entre a alimentação interna e alimentação externa. A alimentação interna e alimentação externa avançam as prateleiras de recipientes utilizando mecanismo de balancim que elevam as prateleiras por ling³etas nos lados direito e esquerdo da prateleira, que são posicionados em uma altura substancialmente idêntica. Prateleiras introduzidas na alimentação interna são transferidas pelo mecanismo de balancim para uma trilha na alimentação transversal. As mesmas são então empurradas, por um subconjunto de transporte tendo uma plataforma com dedos impulsores pivotáveis para ter ação de came sobre a prateleira e empurrar a mesma apenas em uma direção, a partir de trás da alimentação interna para uma posição fixa atrás da alimentação externa. Durante este transporte, a alimentação transversal mantém as prateleiras em uma posição vertical e as prateleiras passam por uma leitora de código de barra para ler rótulos de código de barra nas prateleiras e tubos de ensaio e a seguir sob um sensor ultra-sónico de nível de líquido que faz múltiplas leituras para determinar os tipos dos recipientes, se os recipientes têm tampas que necessitam ser retiradas, e se os recipientes estão destampados, o nível de líquido das amostras nos recipientes. Os dedos impulsores mantêm a prateleira na posição fixa atrás da alimentação externa para permitir que um braço robótico no instrumento recupere os recipientes. Após a remoção dos recipientes, uma bandeja no mecanismo de balancim de alimentação externa é utilizada para retirar a prateleira da alimentação transversal e transferir a mesma para a alimentação eterna. A alimentação externa tem retentores para manter as prateleiras pelas ling³etas, em posições fixas, para a inserção de recipientes em uma posição disponível em uma prateleira. A alimentação transversal pode ser transformada em uma lançadeira bidirecional para transportar recipientes entre uma linha de transporte de automação de laboratório e o instrumento. O manipulador de amostra também pode ter uma lançadeira imediata na qual tubos de ensaio, inserções, e outros recipientes, incluindo pacotes de reagente e diluente, podem ser alimentados.
