Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"OXIDAçãO PARCIAL, ELETRICAMENTE AUXILIADA, DE HIDROCARBONETOS LEVES POR OXIGêNIO"<D>. A finalidade do processo e dispositivo /1/ para auxiliar com plasma de descarga elétrica deslizante /4/ a oxidação parcial de hidrocarbonetos, acompanhados por sua reforma com vapor e/ou reformação com CO~ 2~, é para produzir gases ricos em CO e H~ 2~ que podem também ter altos teores de C~ 2~H~ 4~ e C~ 2~H~ 2~, sem qualquer formação de fuligem ou coque. Esta mistura de produtos é conseguida em um reator de plasma com descargas elétricas deslizantes /1/ que incandescem no compartimento /15a/ levado para uma temperatura menor do que 1200°C e em uma pressão menor do que 6 bars. As descargas atuam diretamente em um meio reativo exotérmico que consiste em hidrocarbonetos misturados com oxigênio gasoso de qualquer origem, e possivelmente com H~ 2~O e/ou CO~ 2~. O fluxo de produtos ativados pelo plasma e que sai da zona /15a/ entra em contato com um material de metal ou cerâmico /19/ colocado no compartimento /15b/ que é levado para uma temperatura que não se excede a 1100°C. Este material torna-se ativo na presença do fluxo de produtos e, como tal, contribui para o aumento da conversão dos produtos que saem do compartimento de plasma /15a/ no produto final.
