Abstract
<B>MéTODO E APARELHO PARA OPERAR EMBREAGEM EM TRANSMISSãO MECâNICA AUTOMáTICA<D>Um aparelho e método para controlar a taxa de engrenamento de uma embreagem em uma transmissão mecânica parcial ou totalmente automática são responsivos a certos cálculos derivados das velocidades de rotação do elemento de entrada e do elemento de saída da embreagem. O aparelho inclui um controlador eletrónico que inicialmente estabelece uma velocidade desejada para o motor do veículo durante o processo de mudança, determina uma taxa de movimento de engrenamento de um mancal de liberação da embreagem e aciona válvulas apropriadas para iniciar o engrenamento gradual da embreagem. Em uma primeira modalidade, o controlador eletrónico compara as velocidades de rotação dos eixos de entrada e saída da embreagem a fim de determinar se a diferença entre as mesmas é menor do que um primeiro valor constante. Se for, pode-se inferir que a embreagem está suficientemente próxima do engrenamento total de modo a garantir a interrupção do processo de engrenamento gradual e mover imediatamente o mancal de liberação de sua posição atual para a posição totalmente engrenada. Para evitar uma falsa inferências de engrenamento total, o sinal de velocidade do eixo de entrada ou de saída da enbreagem é comparado com o sinal de velocidade do motor desejado. Quando a intensidade da diferença entre o sinal de velocidade do eixo de entrada da embreagem e o sinal desejado de velocidade do motor for menor do que um segundo valor constante, então a inferência de que a embreagem está suficientemente próxima do engrenamento total é confirmada. Dessa forma, o mancal de liberação pode ser imediatamente movido de sua posição atual até a posição totalmente engrenada. Em uma segunda modalidade, um sinal de diferença atualizado (calculado como a diferença entre um sinal atualizado da velocidade do eixo de entrada da embreagem e um sinal atualizado da velocidade do eixo de saída da embregaem) é comparado como um sinal de diferença prévio. Um sinal de erro é calculado com a diferença entre o sinal de diferença atualizado e o sinal de diferença prévio. O controlador eletrónico controla o movimento do mancal de liberação, de modo que o sinal de erro siga intimamente um perfil de engrenamento da embreagem selecionado de modo a engrenar de modo consistente a embreagem.
