Abstract
"PROCESSOS PARA A PRODUçãO DE UM BOLOR TRANSFORMADO, E, BOLOR TRANSFORMADO". A invenção refere-se à transformação de bolores mediada por Agrobacterium que compreendem espécies das subdivisões fungais Ascomycotina, Basidiomucotina, Deuteromycotina, Mastigomycotina e Zygomuycotina, Exemplos demonstram a transformação de Aspergillus Awamori (tanto de protoplastos como de conídios), de Aspergillus nidulans, de Aspergillus niger, de Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, de Fusarium solanii pisi, de Neurospora crassa, de Trichoderma reesei, de Pleurotus ostreatus e de Agaricus bisporus (todos de conídios) e de Fusarium graminearum (tanto de conídios como de material ATCC seco por congelamento reidratado). Especialmente para Aspergillus awamori a freq³ência de transformação é muito mais alta do que com as técnicas convencionais de transformação de bolor. Foi ainda descoberto que não apenas um gene que pode ser expressado pode ser introduzido nestes bolores, porém até mesmo múltiplas cópias de tal gene, que, além disso, podem ser direcionadas por exemplo ao locus pyrG cromossomal, como exemplificado para A. awamori. Estas múltiplas cópias podem ser de um gene que codifica uma proteína desejada, homóloga ou heteróloga.
