Abstract
Patente de Invenção "PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE UM MATERIAL PIGMENTáRIO COMPóSITO ESTRUTURADO". Um processo para a produção de um material pigmentário compósito estruturado na forma de uma dispersão compreende a misturação de uma dispersão aquosa de partículas pigmentárias inorgânicas e uma dispersão aquosa de partículas de cloreto de polivinila (PVC). As partículas de pigmento inorgânico carregam uma carga de superfície positiva e as partículas de PVC carregam uma carga de superfície negativa e as partículas no compósito são mantidas em associação como um resultado destas cargas. As partículas de pigmento inorgânico e partículas de PVC são misturadas na presença de um sistema tensoativo que prove tanto estabilização aniónica como estereoquímica. Em uma forma de realização, o sistema tensoativo compreende um tensoativo não iónico tendo um valor HLB maior do que 12 e pelo menos 2 por cento em peso de um tensoativo aniónico com relação ao peso das partículas de PVC. Em uma segunda forma de realização, o sistema tensoativo compreende pelo menos 2 por cento em peso (com relação ao PVC) de um ou mais tensoativos provendo estabilização aniónica e estereoquímica e sendo produtos de condensação de óxido de etileno tendo uma cadeia polioxietileno com um comprimento médio de pelo menos, 8 unidades oxietileno. O produto é utilizável em tintas e prove melhorada opacidade em comparação com pigmentos convencionais e melhorado brilho, comparado com pigmentos compósitos estruturados conhecidos.
