Abstract
Procedimiento para la producción de un material estructurado pigmentario en forma de una dispersión que comprende la mezcla de una dispersión acuosa departículas inorgánicas pigmentarias y una dispersión acuosa de partículas de polivinilcloruro.L as partículas de pigmento inorgánicas portan una carga desuperficie positiva y las partículas de polivinil cloruro portan una carga de superficie negativa y las partículas en el compuesto son mantenidas enasociación como un resultado de dichascarg as. Las partículas de pigmento inorgánico y las partículas de PVC son mezcladas en la presencia de unsistema tensioactivo el cual provee tanto una estabilización espacial, es decir en lo que hace a la disposición de los átomos comoaniónica. En una realizaciónel sitema tensioactivo comprende un agente tensioactivo no iónico que presenta un valor de HLB mayor a 12 y al menos 2% en peso de un agente tensioactivoaniónico con respecto al peso de las partículas de PVC. En unasegunda realización el sistema tensioactivo comprende al menos un 2% en peso (conrespecto al PVC) de uno o más agentes tensioactivos proveyendo una estabilización espacial y aniónica y siendo los productos de condensación deóxido deetileno aqué llos que presentan una cadena de polioxietileno con una longitud promedio de al menos 8 unidades de oxietileno. El producto es útil enpinturas y provee una opacidad mejorada comparada con los pigmentos convencionales y unbrillo mejora do comparado con los pigmentos compuestosestructurados ya conocidos.
