a presente invenção refere-se a dna polimerases. em particular, a presente invenção refere-se a dna polimerases baseadas em uma dna polimerase de um psicrobacillus sp. a presente invenção fornece uma dna polimerase isolada ou um fragmento enzimaticamente ativo da mesma, a referida dna polimerase compreendendo a sequência de aminoácidos da seq id no: 1 ou compreendendo uma sequência de aminoácidos que é pelo menos 70% idêntica à seq id no: 1. a invenção também fornece moléculas de ácido nucleico compreendendo uma sequências de nucleotídeos que codifica a dna polimerase. a invenção também fornece um método de polimerização de nucleotídeos e um método de amplificação de um ácido nucleico em que a dna polimerase ou um fragmento enzimaticamente ativo da mesma é usada(o).
