Abstract
trata-se de um processo para purificar metacrilato de metila (a) alimentando-se com uma mistura que compreende metacrilato de metila e seu sal alcalino uma coluna de destilação acima do meio conjuntamente com um hidrocarboneto; (b) removendo-se uma primeira corrente de topo; (c) removendo-se uma primeira corrente de fundo; (d) alimentando-se com a primeira corrente de topo um primeiro separador de água para produzir (i) uma primeira fase orgânica e (ii) uma primeira fase aquosa que entra em uma coluna de secagem de metanol que produz uma segunda corrente de topo e uma segunda corrente de fundo; (e) alimentando-se com a primeira corrente de fundo um segundo separador de água para produzir (i) uma segunda fase aquosa com a qual alimenta-se uma coluna de extração de mma que produz uma terceira corrente de topo e uma terceira corrente de fundo, e (ii) uma segunda fase orgânica; (f) que combina a segunda fase orgânica e a segunda corrente de fundo dentro de um terceiro separador de água que produz uma terceira fase orgânica que entra em uma coluna de secagem de mma que produz uma quarta corrente de fundo, e (g) alimentando-se com a quarta corrente fundo uma coluna de produto de mma.
