Abstract

a invenção diz respeito a um método de imunoensaio para a detecção de um analito, tal como um antígeno ou um anticorpo em uma amostra isolada suspeita de conter o referido analito, pela incubação da referida amostra com uma pluralidade de parceiros de ligação, um dos quais possuindo um marcador detectável, em que é adicionado um parceiro de ligação marcador-específico que não possui um marcador, mas que se liga ao referido marcador detectável. o método é aplicável a uma grande variedade de analitos e provou ser particularmente útil para anticorpos da classe igg e igm presentes em amostras devido a infecções por agentes patogênicos. a invenção diz respeito ainda a um kit de reagentes uteis para o referido método compreendendo pelo menos dois parceiros de ligação específicos para o analito, um dos quais possuindo de um marcador detectável e um parceiro de ligação marcador-específico que se liga ao referido marcador detectável, mas que não possui um marcador detectável. além disso, a invenção abrange o uso de um parceiro de ligação marcador-específico que não possui um marcador detectável em um teste de diagnóstico in vitro para eliminar interferências causadas por anticorpos antimarcadores presentes em uma amostra.
