Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a aparelho e métodos para produção de pulsos ópticos ultracurtos (1-110). um laser de modo passivamente bloqueado, de estado sólido, de alta potência (1-110) pode ser fabricado em um módulo compacto que pode ser incorporado a um instrumento portátil para análises biológicas ou químicas. o laser pulsado pode produzir pulsos ópticos sub-100-ps em uma taxa de repetição comensurada com taxas de aquisição de dados eletrônicos. os pulsos ópticos podem excitar amostras em câmaras de reação do instrumento e ser usados para gerar um clock de referência para operação de eletrônicos de aquisição de sinal e processamento de sinal do instrumento.
