Abstract

método para a produção de material queratinoso hidrolisado altamente digerível, e, uso de um material queratinoso hidrolisado altamente digerível o método da invenção compreende a produção de material queratinoso hidrolisado altamente digerível compreendendo as etapas de (i) parcialmente hidrolisar o material queratinoso com calor e pressão e (ii) secar opcionalmente o material parcialmente hidrolisado resultante compreendendo um material pelo menos parcialmente insolúvel e (ii i) submeter o material queratinoso parcialmente hidrolisado e opcionalmente seco a uma etapa de hidrólise química com ácido ou base para obter um material hidrolisado altamente digerível, e (iv) purificar o material altamente digerível. a invenção proporciona ainda material queratinoso altamente digerível com uma composição de aminoácido refletindo a composição de aminoácido da matéria-prima, em que a quantidade de aminoácidos descarboxilados é menor que 500 ppm. de preferência, todo o material altamente digerível tem um peso molecular menor que 10000 daltons, e de preferência mais do que 95% em peso do material queratinoso altamente digerível tem um peso molecular menor que 5000 daltons.
