resumo patente de invenção: "processo para o tratamento superficial de partículas de pigmento inorgânico". a invenção refere-se a um processo para o tratamento superficial de partículas de pigmento inorgânico com aglomerados de partículas primárias finamente divididas ou cristais individuais de compostos inorgânicos, em particular, de óxidos ou sulfatos. o processo é caracterizado pelo fato de que inicialmente os compostos inorgânicos são precipitados na forma de aglomerados estruturados soltos e/ou cristais individuais de uma solução aquosa em condições de ph adequadas, em um recipiente separado. em seguida, o produto precipitado é acrescentado a uma suspensão aquosa de partículas de pigmento inorgânico. o processo é particularmente adequado para o tratamento superficial de pigmentos de dióxido de titânio, para obter um alto poder de cobertura ou uma alta opacidade no uso em tintas de dispersão ou em laminados.
