Abstract
PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR UMA DISPERSãO DE MATERIAIS MINERAIS ADEQUADA PARA O USO COMO PIGMENTOS, DISPERSãO DE SóLIDOS MINERAIS PARTICULADOS EM UM MEIO CONTENDO áGUA E PELO MENOS UM AGENTE DISPERSANTE. O processo da presente invenção produz uma dispersão aquosa de materiais minerais, adequados para o uso em pigmentos e outras coberturas, introduzindo um agente dispersante totalmente neutralizado em uma dispersão aquosa de materiais minerais grosseiros, moendo a dispersão aquosa e, durante a moagem, adicionando um agente dispersante parcialmente neutralizado na dispersão aquosa. Processo da presente invenção produz dispersões aquosas de partículas muito finas, com um teor de sólidos de pelo menos 75 % em peso, com base no peso total da dispersão aquosa, e nas quais 95 % ou mais das partículas são abaixo de 2 mícrons.
