resumo “detecção e quantificação de ácido nucleico para avaliar a biomassa microbiana em defeitos de papel e feltros de máquina” a invenção é direcionada a métodos e composições para identificar os micro-organismos específicos presentes em uma poção particular de um processo de fabricação de papel. o método envolve a obtenção de uma amostra a partir do processo que é tal que pouco ou nenhum exemplo vivo do micro-organismo permanece. entretanto, porque o dna a partir dos organismos ainda está presente, uma análise que identifica porções de dna específico ao organismo particular identificará corretamente o micro-organismo presente. isto permite a análise de infestações presente em feltros ou folhas de papel que tipicamente já não têm muitos micro-organismos vivos neles quando amostras são tiradas para análise
