Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE UM POLìMERO HIPER-RAMIFICADO , POLìMERO HIPER-RAMIFICADO, MISTURA POLIMéRICA E USO DE UM POLìMERO HIPER-RAMIFICADO". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a preparação de um polímero hiper-ramificado que tem uma massa molar média ponderada de pelo menos 30.000, o qual compreende o acoplamento de um primeiro pré-polímero que tem pelo menos três grupos terminais funcionais com um segundo pró-polimero que tem pelo menos dois grupos terminais funcionais por meio de uma reação de condensação com desidratação entre os grupos terminais nos pró-polímeros. De acordo com a presente invenção, o número de braços e/ou a massa molar dos pré-polímeros funcionalizados podem ser ajustados com precisão, desse modo afetando as propriedades do polímero hiper-ramificado resultante de uma maneira desejada. Desse modo, o polimero pode ser dotado, por exemplo, de partes hidrofóbica e hidrofílica. Além disso, o número de grupos terminais funcionais que pode, ser opcionalmente usados para outras reações químicas, no polímero hiper-ramificado pode ser facilmente ajustado a um nível desejado. O polímero hiper-ramificado de elevada massa molar pode ser preparado com altos rendimentos sem o uso de solventes orgânicos ou compostos de ligação, o que é vantajoso de um ponto de vista tanto ambiental quanto económico.
