Abstract

"UTILIZAçãO COMBINADA DE óLEO E EMULSãO PARA LAMINAR TIRAS A FRIO". A presente invenção refere-se a um procedimento para laminar tiras a frio, entre outros materiais, de aço finos e/ou de metais não-ferrosos, num trem de laminação em tandem de diversos montantes de laminação, sendo que o primeiro montante, ou eventualmente, os primeiros montantes, realiza(m) uma redução comparativamente elevada e o último montante, ou quando for o caso, os últimos montantes apresentam uma redução relativamente menor e determina(m) a qualidade da superfície da tira. Para melhorar a eficiência do trem de laminação tanto no que diz respeito à redução de espessura quanto no tocante à qualidade da superfície da tira laminada, a proposta é que, para as primeiras passadas da tira pelo trem de laminação em tandem, que apresentam uma redução relativamente elevada, seja utilizada uma emulsão à guisa de agente de refrigeração e lubrificação. Em seguida, a película do agente de refrigeração e lubrificação que aderiu à tira é removida por esmagamento depois de sua saída do espaço entre os cilindros do último montante de cilindros operado com emulsão. Já particularmente para a última passada ou as últimas passadas da tira pelo trem de laminação em tandem, com uma redução relativamente mais reduzida, é utilizado óleo de laminação como agente lubrificante. A presente invenção também se refere a uma instalação para executar o procedimento.
