Abstract
"CORREIA DE TRANSMISSãO DE FORçA E MéTODO". A presente invenção compreende uma correia possuindo uma construção em camadas sobrepondo cordões de tensão. Uma camada elastomérica (10) sobrepõe um cordão de cima (11) que sobrepõe ainda outra camada elastomérica (12), que por sua vez sobrepõe um cordão de tensão (13) . A camada de cordão de cima suporta os cordões de tensão durante a moldagem, desse modo estabilizando uma posição da linha central da linha do cordão com respeito ao vértice de uma nervura. Esta construção de forma significativa reduz uma distância a partir de uma linha central do cordão de tensão até um vértice de uma nervura e a interface de nervura / polia em uma correia com múltiplas nervuras, desse modo aumentando de forma significativa a vida útil da correia.
