Abstract

La presente comprende una correa que tiene una construcción plegada que yace sobre cuerdas de tracción. Una capa elastomérica yace sobre una sobre-cuerda la cual yace sobre otra capa elastomérica más la cual a su vez yace sobre una cuerda de tracción. La capa de sobre-cuerda soporta cuerdas de tracción durante el molde estabilizando de ese modo una posición de línea central de cuerda con respecto a un ápice de nervadura. Esta construcción reduce significativamente una distancia desde una línea central de cuerda de tracción a un ápice de nervadura y entrecara nervadura/polea en una correa con múltiples nervaduras, aumentando de ese modo significativamente la vida útil de la correa.
