Abstract

"PRé-AQUECEDOR DE SOLUçãO DE POLìMERO E MéTODO PARA PRé-AQUECER TAIS SOLUçõES". A invenção refere-se a um pré-aquecedor de desvolatilização de polímero (10) e um método para empregar o mesmo para pré-aquecer uma solução de polímero/ solvente. O pré-aquecedor (10) inclui um recipiente cóncavo vertical, prolongado (12) definindo uma câmara de aquecimento (14). Uma entrada (16) está localizada adjacente à extremidade superior (18) da câmara (14) e uma saída (20) está localizada adjacente à extremidade inferior (22) da câmara (14). Uma pluralidade de feixes do tubo de aquecimento (26, 28, 30) são montados na câmara (14), cada feixe incluindo uma pluralidade de tubos de aquecimento de serpentina prolongada que são cada arrumados em uma configuração tendo um eixo principal que estende-se através da câmara em uma direção transversa ao eixo longitudinal do recipiente. Cada tubo (32, 34) inclui uma pluralidade de porções de tubo curvado (36) e uma pluralidade de porções de tubo de ligação (38) que interconectam as porções de tubo curvado.
