Abstract
MODIFICADOR DE VISCOSIDADE PARA óLEO LUBRIFICANTE E COMPOSIçõES DE óLEO LUBRIFICANTE". Esta invenção pretende fornecer uma composição de óleo lubrificante excelente em propriedades de baixa temperatura, estabilidade de oxidação, lubricidade a altas temperaturas e eficiência de combustivel e também nas propriedades de manuseio a baixas temperaturas, e um modificador de viscosidade para óleo lubrificante empregado nas ditas composições de óleo lubrificante. o modificador de viscosidade para o óleo lubrificante compreende um copolímero de etileno/ -olefina (B) composto de: (i) etileno, (ii) uma -olefina de 3 ou mais átomos de carbono, e (iii) uma -olefina mais alta de 4 a 20 átomos de carbono em que o número de carbono de (iii) é maior do que o de (ii) por um ou mais, e o copolímero de etileno/ -olefina (B) tem as seguintes propriedades (b-1) e (b-2): (b-1) um teor de etileno (i) está na faixa de 40 a 80% por peso, um teor de -olefina de 3 ou mais átomos de carbono (ii) está na faixa de 15 a 59% por peso, e um teor de -olefina mais alta de 4 a 20 átomos de carbono (iii) está na faixa de 0,1 a 25% por peso com a ressalva que a soma é de 100% por peso; e (b-2) um peso molecular de peso-médio (Mw) em termos do polistireno conforme medido pelo GPC é entre 80.000 e 400.000.
