Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"FABRICAçãO DE áCIDO CìCLICO"<D>. Processo para produção de ácido 2-oxo-1,3-dibenzil-4,5-imidazolidinadicarboxílico e, respectivamente de anidrido de ácido 2-oxo-1,3-dibenzil-4,5-imidazolidinadicarboxílico partindo de um sal de metal dial-calino de ácido meso-2,3-bis(benzilamino)succínico que compreende reação do sal de metal dialcalino de ácido meso-2,3-bis(benzilamino)succínico com clorofomiato de fenila em um sistema de solvente monofásico, consistindo em uma mistura de cerca de 2:1 a 1:1 de um éter miscível em água e solução de hidróxido de metal alcalino aquosa, a uma temperatura não excedendo cerca de 40°C e convertendo o sal de metal dialcalino de ácido 2-oxo-1,3-dibenzil-cis-4,5-imidazolidinadicarboxílico, por acidificação no ácido de 1-oxo-1,3-dibenzil-cis-4,5-imidazolidinadicarboxílico desejado e isolando este ou convertendo por aquecimento com anidrido acético, em um hidrocarboneto aromático como o solvente orgânico no anidrido de ácido 2-oxo-1,3-dibenzil-cis-4,5-imidazolidinadicarboxílico desejado e isolando o mesmo. Cada produto é um intermediário importante no processo de múltiplas etapas para a fabricação de biotina (vitamina H).
