Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"MéTODO PARA FABRICAR UM CATETER E UM CUBO DE UMA PEçA, MéTODO DE FABRICAR UM CUBO E UM TUBO CATETER, MéTODO DE FABRICAR UM DISPOSITIVO INTRAVASCULAR, APARELHO PARA FORMA UM CATETER DE PEçA úNICA E MOLDE PARA FORMA UM CUBO E UM TUBO DE PEçA úNICA". Um aparelho e um método estão descritos para fabricar um cateter de uma peça integral que tem um tubo e um cubo. O método compreende alimentar um material fundido em um molde que tem uma cavidade de molde. O fluido tal como um gás é injetado em uma saída do molde. Isto faz com que a cavidade ejete a região central fundida do polímero através de um canal de saída. Em uma modalidade, um gás é injetado na porção de cubo de cavidade. Em outra modalidade, um gás injetado na porção de cateter do molde. A invenção também envolve formar uma primeira porção de um dispositivo intravascular utilizando um primeiro material em um primeiro molde. Após isto a primeira porção do dispositivo intravascular é inserida em um segundo molde para formar uma segunda porção utilizando um segundo material. O gás é então introduzido para formar um canal oco na segunda porção. A invenção também envolve uma primeira porção do molde que é injetada com um primeiro material, e uma segunda porção da cavidade é injetada com um segundo material no ou aproximadamente no mesmo tempo que o primeiro material é injetado na primeira porção da cavidade. O gás é então introduzido para formar um canal oco na segunda porção.
