Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA MOLDAR E CURAR PNEUS PARA RODAS DE VEìCULO". Um pneu cru (7) fabricado sobre um suporte toroidal (10) é fechado num molde de vulcanização (2). Partes laterais (8) do pneu são ensanduichadas entre faces de molde (4a, 4b) e o suporte toroidal (10). Vapor d'água ou um outro fluido sob pressão é fornecido a um espaço intermediário de difusão (19) formado, devido à expansão de pneu, entre a superfície interna do pneu (7) e a superfície externa (10a) do suporte toroidal (10). Um forro pré-curado é previamente aplicado à superfície interna do pneu (7), a fim de impedir difusão de partículas d'água no material elastomérico cru.
