Abstract
"MéTODO PARA FRACIONAR POLI(óXIDO DE ETILENO) FORMADO USANDO UM CATALISADOR CIANETO METáLICO". Um polímero de poli (óxido de etileno) possuindo frações de elevado e baixo peso molecular é fracionado por dissolver o polímero em um solvente para a fração de baixo peso molecular. Uma boa separação das frações de elevado e baixo peso molecular pode ser obtida. Quando o polímero de poli(óxido de etileno) contém uma catalisador cianeto metal, este processo também proporciona uma boa separação do catalisador a partir da fração de baixo peso molecular. Neste exemplo, o catalisador permanece ativo e a fração de elevado peso molecular contendo o catalisador pode ser reciclada em processos de polimerização subsequentes.
