Abstract
Se fracciona un polímero de poli(oxido de etileno) que tiene fracciones de bajo peso molecular y de elevado peso molecular disolviendo el polímero en unsolvente para la fraccion de bajo peso molecular. Se puede obtener una buena separacion de las fracciones de bajo peso molecular y de elevado peso molecular.Cuando el polímero de poli(oxido de etileno) contiene un catalizador de cianuro metálico, este proceso también provee una buena separacion del catalizador dela fraccion de bajo peso molecular. En este caso, el catalizador permanece activo y se puede reciclar la fraccion de elevado peso molecular que contiene elcatalizador, a procesos de polimerizacion subsecuentes.
