Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA MODIFICAR POLìMEROS CONTENDO GRUPOS áCIDOS". A presente invenção diz respeito a um método para modificar polímeros contendo grupos ácidos pela reação, em temperaturas de até 250<198>C, de (a) polímeros que contêm dentro deles pelo menos 5% em peso de um monómero que contenha grupos ácidos monoetilenicamente insaturados, que tenham um peso molecular variando entre 200 a 100.000 e que são obteníveis pela polimerização por radical de ácidos monoetilenicamente insaturados, opcionalmente na presença de um outro monómero monoetilenicamente insaturado em uma solução aquosa na presença de pelo menos 4% em peso, com base nos monómeros usados para a polimerização, de uma composição de enxofre solúvel em água, na qual o enxofre tem o número de oxidação +4, com (b) polialquileno glicóis terminados por um grupo unilateralmente terminado, alquilpolialquileno glicolaminas ou misturas destes. A invenção também diz respeito às misturas de pelo menos um dos ditos compostos com até 30% em peso, com base nas misturas de amónia, aminas, álcoois, ácidos hidroxicarboxílicos ou ácidos aminocarboxílicos.
