Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR UMA DISPERSãO POLIMéRICA". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para preparar uma dispersão polimérica aquosa, que compreende a polimerização de um ou mais menómeros solúveis em água em uma solução aquosa salina na presença de um polímero dispersante, onde o polímero dispersante é um copolímero de uma mistura de monómeros (M) compreendendo pelo menos um monómero catiónico e pelo menos um monómero que é acrilato de tetrahidrofurfuril, metacrilato de tetrahidrofurfuril, ou um monómero de fórmula geral (I): em que R~ 1~, é hidrogênio ou metil, R~ 2~ é hidrogênio ou alquil C~ 1~-C~ 2~ , R~ 3~ é hidrogênio ou alquil C~ 1~-C~ 4~, fenil, ou benzil, n = 1 a 4, e x = 1 a 50, onde a mistura de monómeros (M) é substancialmente livre de monómeros que não são solúveis em água e/ou o polímero dispersante é obtenível pela polimerização da mistura de monómeros (M) em um meio reacional que é substancialmente livre de solventes orgânicos. A invenção refere-se também a uma dispersão polimérica aquosa, ao uso da dispersão e a um processo para a produção de papel.
