Abstract

O PARA PRODUZIR UM REVESTIMENTO SOBRE A SUPERFìCIEDE TERMOCURA, E, REVESTIMENTO DURáVEL AUTO-CURANTE SOBRE UM SUBSTRATO". A presente invenção é dirigida a uma composição de revestimento de termocura de teor de sólidos ultra elevado de baixo VOC. Um componente polimérico da composição inclui um polímero de baixo peso molecular, polimerizado a partir de uma mistura de monómeros contendo menos que 45 por cento, em peso, de pelo menos um monómero contendo hidrogênio ativo. A polimerização ocorre na presença de um diluente reativo. Pela inclusão do diluente reativo no componente polimérico da composição, a quantidade de solvente usada na composição pode ser substancialmente reduzida, ao mesmo tea composição com uma viscosidade suficiente para permitir a aplicação de revestimento efetiva. Os revestimentos da composição são duráveis; brilhosos; resistentes a solvente e a impacto; e aderentes a uma ampla variedade de substratos, tais como para-choques de automóveis, superfícies de estrada e equipamento de escritório. A superfície destes revestimentos, quando submetida à ação de desgaste ote restaurada à sua condição original pelo simples brunimento ou polimento da superfície deteriorada ou desgastada. A invenção é também dirigida a incluir uma combinação de substâncias químicas na composição de termocura contendo um componente de reticulação de isocianato. Uma tal combinação simultaneamente aumenta a vida em armazenamento da mistura de pote, ao mesmo tempo em que diminui o tempo dte em uma ampla variedade de superfícies de substrato.
