Abstract

Пожарогасителят и методът за гасене на пожар са приложими за гасене с незапалима течност, например вода, на пожари със степен на замъгленост от клас А и В в закрити помещения. Атакуват се всички части на горивния процес с относително малко количество вода. Пожарогасителят (10) съдържа резервоар подналягане (12) с контролна клапа (30), тръби (14) и (16) във водопроводна мрежа (36) с клапа за контрол на изтичането (32), множество пръскалки (18), множество детектори за пожар (20), включително детектор за фиксирана температура на пожара (40) и детектор за температурно нарастване (42), и контролен панел (22). По метода се произвежда мъгла от водни пари със среден диаметър на капката между 50 и 500 микро m за гасене на пожари в затворени рискови зони (100). Мъглата се генерира чрез пръскалките(18), действащи при по-малко от 20 bar, т.е. с ниско налягане. Използва се по-малко от 1 l/m3 вода от обема на рисковата зона (100). Тя е с обграждащи стени (102), между които са разположени пожароопасни съоръжения - двигател (104), резервоари за гориво (106), изходна тръба (108), изходен мундщук (110), обменник на топлина (112) и въздушна шахта (114).
