Abstract

The drier is used in the timber industry. It is adaptive, economical and having higher efficiency coefficient in using the energy. The drier has a furnace section (1) which can be used for drying of all types of timber and wood regardless of their sizes with the facility for controlling the drying in the transfer of the moisture from the wood to the recirculation air at specific atmospheric conditions, as a result of which optimum quality of the dried wood is obtained. The drier includes a loading facility (6) in which the wood and timber are arranged on shelves. Suitable air recirculation and effective drying of the wood is ensured by fans (25, 41, 42, 43 and 71), ventilation unit (40), heating-condensation unit (2) and heaters (430) & 440). 20 claims, 9 figures
