Abstract

FIELD: lumber processing technology. SUBSTANCE: method is most perspective in drying valuable kinds of wood. Sawn timber is processed in cyclic operation. Initially, warm air removes moisture from surface of sawn timber thus creating gradient of moisture content over its cross-section. Then, microwave energy is brought to sawn timber which heats it inertia-free through its entire thickness. Microwave energy causes intensive transfer of moisture to surface. Finally at third stage of processing, sawn timber is intensively blown off so as to evaporate water and create humidity field for timber surface to be dried up. EFFECT: high efficiency.

Предлагается наряду с оддувом нагретым воздухом использовать микроволновую энергию. Наиболее перспективен этот способ при сушке ценных пород древесины. Обработка пиломатериала осуществляется в циклическом режиме. Сначала теплый воздух удаляет с поверхности пиломатериала влагу, создавая градиент влажности по его поперечному сечению. Потом к пиломатериалу подводится микроволновая энергия, которая безынерционно на всю толщину прогревает древесину. Микроволновая энергия вызывает интенсивный перенос влаги к поверхности. И наконец, на последнем этапе пиломатериал интенсивно оддувается, чтобы испарить воду и создать поле влажности, при котором поверхность будет подсушена. Таким образом происходит подготовка к следующему циклу интенсивного воздействия микроволновой энергии.The invention relates to the field of lumber drying technology.
